Manage Sources

To build dashboards and charts using your data, you need to first choose some items to be linked as sources. When you click “Add as source” on a survey, a new model is created in Alchemer Dashboard. You can see all your models on the Data tab. 

Working with Surveys 

We recommend using question alias and reporting values to make your data easier to digest. Use concise, descriptive labels for the data. Avoid starting labels with numbers for the best Spark performance. 

If you’ve made significant changes to your survey design after creating a source, you might need to manually update the source, and the charts using it. To update the source, click the “Update Source” link on the Manage Sources Page. 

Check the charts and dashboards built from the updated source to ensure smooth operation. 

Data Syncing

Alchemer Dashboard periodically pulls new responses and survey changes from Alchemer Survey. You’ll be able to see new responses, survey updates, and team assignments as soon as a scheduled sync has completed.
