Overview

   The Alchemer Foxit integration uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate.

What You Need

  • Foxit eSign Client ID
  • Foxit eSign Client Secret
  • Your Foxit eSign hostname (region-specific)

How to Get Your Foxit API Credentials


1. Steps for creating/getting API credentials

  • Log in to your Foxit eSign admin console.
  • Navigate to the API/App integration settings for your account.
  • Create a new application (or select an existing one) to generate a Client ID and Client Secret.
  • Note the region your account is hosted in — you will need this to determine your hostname in the next section.

Authenticate Foxit in Alchemer

After obtaining your Foxit API credentials, add them to the Alchemer Foxit integration. Credentials are securely stored in Alchemer and can be reused.

How to Authenticate

1. Start a New Authentication

  • Inside any Foxit integration action, select New Authentication.

2. Enter Your Foxit Credentials

Provide the following:
  • Client ID: Enter the Client ID from your Foxit application.
  • Client Secret: Enter the Client Secret from your Foxit application.
  • Hostname: Enter the hostname that matches the region where your Foxit account is hosted, in the format shown below:
    • US: na1.foxitesign.foxit.com
    • CA: na2.foxitesign.foxit.com
    • EU: eu1.foxitesign.foxit.com
    • AU: au1.foxitesign.foxit.com

3. Save Your Authentication

  • Select Create.
  • Once created:
    • The authentication is saved and reused for all Foxit actions
    • You only need to update it if your API credentials change
