Overview
The Alchemer HubSpot integration uses OAuth to authenticate. There is nothing to build or configure on the HubSpot side and nothing to set up on the Alchemer side beyond signing in and approving the connection. When you authenticate, you are redirected to HubSpot to log in and approve access, and the connection is created.

- Your HubSpot login credentials
- Permission to approve the connection for your HubSpot account
Authenticate HubSpot in Alchemer
The HubSpot integration authenticates using OAuth. Rather than entering an API key and secret, you sign in to HubSpot and approve the connection. Once created, the authentication is securely stored in Alchemer and can be reused across all HubSpot integration actions.
How to Authenticate
1. Start a New Authentication

Inside any HubSpot integration action, select New Authentication.
2. Log In and Approve the Connection

A pop-out window will appear and redirect you to HubSpot. Sign in with your HubSpot credentials and approve the connection.
- Note: If the pop-out appears, then disappears, and the authentication is made, that means you were already logged in to HubSpot. There is no need to do anything else.
3. You're Good to Go

Once you approve the connection, your authentication is created.
- The authentication is saved and reused for all HubSpot actions.
- You only need to update it if you want to reconnect or use a different HubSpot account.
