Overview
Alchemer AI lets you evaluate survey data using a custom AI prompt, directly within your survey. Send response text to the AI along with your own instructions, and return the AI-generated result back into the survey.
The Alchemer AI integration allows Alchemer to classify, summarize, score, or extract insights from survey responses in real time using a prompt you define. The result can be written back to a survey field to personalize questions, drive logic, or enrich your response data.

- An Alchemer plan that includes Alchemer AI and the Integration Manager permission enabled.

Setup Alchemer AI integration in surveys

You will need:
- Survey fields to use as your prompt and context.
- A survey field to store the AI response.
Configure the action
- Open your survey in Survey Builder.
- Select Add New: Action.
- In the Add Action modal, scroll to the Your Integrations section.
- Select Alchemer AI.
- Select Alchemer AI | Custom AI prompt.
- Alchemer AI | Select prompt and context: Select the survey fields to use as your prompt and the context you want the AI to evaluate. The prompt will be the AI instructions that you want to use, ideally you would use a Hidden Value Action to store this so you can update the prompt easily later on. The context is the question you want the AI to evaluate using your custom prompt.
- Alchemer AI | Get data back: Map the AI response to the survey field where you want to store the result.
- Save the action.
