Alchemer AI is an embedded artificial intelligence platform within Alchemer that enables dynamic, contextual question creation, response analysis, and workflow automation. It is used by organizations to enhance surveys, personalize respondent experiences, and extract deeper insights without manual authoring.
The Alchemer integration with Alchemer AI supports automated generation of follow-up questions directly inside surveys. The Alchemer AI integration allows Alchemer to evaluate a respondent’s answer in real time and generate an additional question that probes deeper based on meaning, tone, intent, or detected themes.

Setup Alchemer AI integration in surveys
Alchemer AI | Ask AI Generated Follow-Up Question
You will need:
- Alchemer AI enabled on your account
- A survey question containing text input that the AI will evaluate
Configure the action
- Open your survey in Survey Builder.
- Select Add New: Action.
- In the Add Action modal, scroll to the Integrations section.
- Select Alchemer AI.
- Select Alchemer AI | Ask AI Generated Follow-Up Question.
- Alchemer AI | Select questions: Select the questions you want to follow up on. AI generated question text will be created using the response to this question in real-time.
- Alchemer AI | Get data back: Select the field where you want to save the follow up question text.
- Save the action.

- 200: The query ran successfully
- 400: The external integration returned an error
