Overview
The Alchemer Constant Contact integration uses OAuth to authenticate.
Constant Contact Login Credentials
What You Need
- Constant Contact login credentials
- Permission to allow Tray.io (Alchemer's integration platform) access to your Constant Contact account
- A Constant Contact user with access to the contacts and contact lists you want to use in Alchemer
Authenticate Constant Contact in Alchemer
How to Authenticate
1. Start a New Authentication
- Inside any Constant Contact integration action, select New Authentication.
2. Enter Your Constant Contact Credentials
- A pop-out window will appear asking for your Constant Contact login credentials. Enter them.
- Note: If the pop-out appears, then disappears, and the authentication is made, that means you were already logged into Constant Contact. There is no need to do anything else.
3. Allow Access to Tray.io
- After you sign in, Constant Contact will ask you to allow Tray.io to access your account. Tray.io is the integration platform Alchemer uses to make the calls to Constant Contact, so this access is required for the integration to work.
- Review the permissions requested: account_read, account_update, campaign_data, and contact_data.
- Select Allow Access.
- Note: If you select Don't Allow, the authentication will not be created and the Constant Contact integration actions will not be able to run.
