Alchemer Release Notes: September 2026

Alchemer Product Release Notes

Release highlights

  • Neutral default survey title - new surveys show respondents “Alchemer Survey” by default, and the Share tab reminds you to set your own title.
  • Blank rows skipped across all file imports - survey data, contacts, users, translations and more no longer choke on empty rows.
  • Grid rows available in Integration Hub field mapping - map individual grid rows in Survey and Workflow integrations.
  • Send email details in the Workflow monitor - recipient, sender and subject details are logged for send email steps.
  • API email campaign fixes - private-domain invite links and relative reminders work for campaigns driven through the v5 API.

Survey

Improved: New surveys don’t automatically reveal internal title to respondents

Newly created surveys default the in-survey title text to “Alchemer Survey”. The Share tab reminds you when a survey still uses its default title, so internal project names don't reach your audience. Update the title in Tools > Survey Settings.

Improved: File imports skip blank rows

Imports ignore empty rows. That covers survey data, contacts, unsubscribe lists, translations, login lists, account users, 360 and package files, and cascading dropdowns. Survey data imports show how many rows were skipped, and contact imports no longer stop at the first blank row.

Fixed: Editing and unlinking Question Library elements

You can edit and unlink all Question Library elements you have permission for. Some older elements showed a permissions warning instead.

Email campaigns & API

Fixed: Private-domain invite links from the v5 API

Email campaigns created through the v5 API with a specific private domain generate working invite links.

Fixed: Relative reminders for API-sent invites

Relative reminders send on schedule when you add contacts and send the initial invite through the v5 API. Before, those contacts could stay pending indefinitely.

Integrations

Improved: Map individual grid rows in Integration Hub

Survey Integration Hub actions and Workflow integration steps list each grid row as its own field, so you can send row-level answers to tools like Google Sheets and Excel. Works with radio button, checkbox, star rating, dropdown menu, textbox and semantic differential grids.

Workflow

Improved: Send email details in the Workflow monitor

Send email step logs show the recipient and sender (name and address), the subject line, the sending method and the step name, so you can quickly confirm who each email went to.
