Most operations in Alchemer Pulse are available both through the app interface and through the API.
Who can use the Alchemer Pulse API?
The Alchemer Pulse API is available to any customer on Pulse Tier 2 or higher.
What you can do with the API
The API supports a wide range of use cases. The most common are:
- Export Alchemer Pulse data - save it into a data warehouse or another system of record.
- Enrich data in Alchemer Pulse - add attributes from a CRM, data warehouse, or another source.
How do I get an API key?
- Contact Alchemer Support to request API access.
- Once access is enabled, find your API key in the application under Pulse > Settings > Integrations > Chattermill API.

Because the Alchemer Pulse API uses the existing Chattermill API, full method-level documentation, including endpoints, parameters, and examples, is available at apidocs.chattermill.com. Refer to it for the complete API reference.
Note: Full data export via AWS S3 is out of scope for the API access included with Pulse Tier 2.
